What line of work were you in before you became a settlement planner?

I was a practicing attorney in the field of plaintiffs’ product liability and personal injury litigation.

What do you enjoy most about being a settlement planner?

I enjoy achieving creative settlement solutions for personal injury victims which many times also fosters case resolution.

What are some of the challenges that your attorney clients face- and how do you help them?

Many attorneys feel an obligation to make sure that their client is okay even after their attorney-client representation has ceased. I assist in this process by providing comprehensive settlement plans to lawyers and their clients so both parties are assured that once the case is concluded, the plaintiff is taken care of.

How do you spend your time outside of work?

I spend time with close friends and family. The simplest things in life tend to give me the most pleasure.

Where is the most interesting place you’ve ever traveled?

My most interesting trip was in 2013 to Cuba with the Temple Inn of Court and the Louis D. Brandeis Law Society.

What is your favorite place to be?

My favorite place to be is lounging on the beach in Tulum, Mexico.

What traits define you?

Resilient, hardworking, conscientious and enthusiastic.

What is your personal motto?

“What we fear of doing most is usually what we most need to do.”― Ralph Waldo Emerson

If you weren’t a settlement planner, what would you be doing for a career?

A practicing personal injury lawyer in a field I was most passionate about.
